This policy says what Football Pool Manager at footballpoolmanager.app (the "site") collects about you, who can see it, and how to have it changed or removed.
What the site collects
- To sign in: your email address and a password (stored only as a hash by the sign-in service).
- To run the pool: the alias you choose for each pool, your first and last name, your picks, and when you last signed in.
- Optional, if you enter them: a mailing address, a phone number and a Venmo username. None of these is required to use the site.
- If your commissioner tracks dues: whether the commissioner has marked you as paid for a season, and any prize amounts the commissioner records against you.
- If you ask to be told when the site launches: the email address you enter, and nothing else.
The site does not collect payment card details, bank details or your location, and it does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Who can see it
- Members of your pool see your alias, your picks once each game has locked, and your place in the standings. They can also choose to see your first and last name beside your alias on the standings.
- The commissioner of each pool you are in also sees your email address, your name, and any address, phone or Venmo username you entered, plus whether you are marked paid.
- The site's operator sees which pools exist, their commissioners' aliases and how many members each has. The operator's console does not show anyone's name, email, address, phone or Venmo username. The operator can reach the underlying database and does so only to keep the site running or to answer a request from you.
The site never sells or rents your information, and it never shares it for marketing.
Services the site relies on
Your data is stored with Supabase (database and sign-in) and served by Vercel (hosting), both in the United States. Sign-in and password emails are sent through Resend. Game schedules, scores and betting lines come from ESPN and The Odds API; nothing about you is sent to them. Each of these providers processes data only to provide its service to the site.
Cookies
The site sets a cookie to keep you signed in and, if you are in more than one pool, one to remember which pool you were looking at. A few preferences (such as print order on the pick sheet) are kept in your browser's own storage and never leave it. There are no third-party or advertising cookies. The site does not respond to browser "do not track" signals, because it does no tracking to switch off.
Your choices
- Your name, alias and the optional fields can be changed under My Account at any time.
- To leave a pool, ask its commissioner to remove you. To close your login entirely, or to have your data corrected or deleted, write to support@footballpoolmanager.app from the email address on the login. Picks already graded stay in the pool's standings under your alias unless the commissioner removes them.
- The launch-notice list is one email address per row; write to the same address to be taken off it.
Children
The site is for adults. Nobody under 18 may create a login, and the site does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe it has, write to the address above and it will be removed.
Changes
The date at the top says when this policy last changed. A change that affects what is collected or who sees it will be announced on the site before it takes effect.
